Eminem New Album 2016 Release Update: Slipknot Interested In Collaboration with Rap Legend
For quite some time now, fans of Eminem have been waiting for any information about a new album that is rumored to be released this year. However, there has been little or no information about the upcoming album over the past months.
The latest studio album released by the famous rapper was heard back in 2013 wherein several collaboration songs were featured. Despite the lack of communication that Eminem and his team have dropped for fans, there is still a lot of excitement for his upcoming album.
To give fans something to chew on while Eminem continues to prep his album for release, DJ Tim Westwood reportedly released a freestyle track from the rapper. While a full version is not yet available to anyone, the 13-minute track released by the British DJ was a treat to the many who have been waiting for another Eminem single. The track was a recorded audio of Eminem's collaboration with the late DeShaun Dupree Holton, and even without the complete version, the single is already gaining a lot of praise from those who heard it.
As a lot of rap fans know, Slipknot is a band that is close to the hearts of many music-lovers. Apparently, the team loves Eminem too, and a few weeks ago, Corey Taylor said he is looking forward to working with the 43-year-old songwriter. The masses adore Eminem's bright mind that he translates into some of the most beautiful songs ever penned in history. But this time, it is another music star that has shown respect for the veteran rapper.
Just like every fan who dreams of one day getting on stage with their favorite music icon, Taylor said a collaboration is something he isn't even sure will happen. On the other hand, he said he won't stop dreaming about one day working with the rap god whose emotional music has touched Taylor's heart.
