England vs Ecuador Live Stream Free Football: Watch Online pre-World Cup 2014 Soccer (Start Time)
England will play Ecuador on Wednesday as both teams look to move one step closer to finalizing their preparations for Brazil World Cup 2014, which commences next week. This should be a stern test for England against South American opposition, and should give an indication on how they will cope playing Latin American opposition in Brazil in the tournament. Today's game kicks off at 3 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
Today's big game takes place from the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida.
In team news, James Milner has reportedly been included in the England team and will get his opportunity to stake his claim for a starting spot at the right back position in the team for the World Cup.
Glen Johnson is arguably the first choice player for that position for England, but manager Roy Hodgson will be looking to see if Milner can be a good back-up or even steal the starting spot.
Johnson did not have a comfortable game in England's last game against Peru, even though the team won 3-0. That could allow Milner to steal the starting spot if he can have a strong game today.
Hodgson said: "James [Milner] will play right-back against Ecuador. He's got the qualities to play there. There may be moments in the World Cup where we'd like to use him there.
"This will give him some experience of that position. He's in the squad as a right or left-sided midfield player and that's where we see him mostly, but it will be interesting to see how he gets on at right-back."
Reports have claimed that Frank Lampard will lead the England team out as captain today. The England line-up is apparently a bit experimental as Hodgson looks to tweak his squad ahead of the tournament.
Striker Wayne Rooney will be given a left-sided role as Hodgson tries to get his best striker at full match fitness for the World Cup, following a lengthy lay-off for the Manchester United player.
