'Fallout 4 DLC' News: Game Director Teases Content Based on Fan Feedback
The upcoming "Fallout 4" downloadable content (DLC) will be based on fan feedback, the game's director revealed recently.
"Fallout 4" fans are eager to know what is in store for them in the next DLC, which is expected to be bigger than ever. In an interview, game director Tom Howard divulged that the developers will take into consideration feedback from fans, according to the International Business Times.
Howard acknowledged that the new DLC is very important for "Fallout 4" fans, so they consider it important also. He added that they are planning to come up with multiple expansion packs, Realty Today (RT) reports.
"This game is huge, but it's not just this launch. It's going to be well deep into next year," RT quotes Howard's statement in the interview with Red Carpet Report. "… Because what they bring to it is really important; we're going to see what people like, what they want more of, what they want different, and we're going to do that."
Howard also mentioned that the development of "Fallout 4" will continue until 2016. The game director said Bethesda will be monitoring fan feedback and incorporate the ideas in the DLC to be developed. In September, Bethesda announced that the main game will be released in November and the multiple expansion packs will be out by next year. The whole package will cost $40, but it will be sold for $30.
In accordance with the trend among mainstream games, there will be a season pass for "Fallout 4." After the main game's release, Bethesda will have more time to work on the DLC and come up with the patches needed, the report details.
Bethesda announced that "Fallout 4" would have free updates for the game expansion. The limited number of free updates would also add new features such as new difficulty levels, the report adds.
The "Fallout 4" DLC's release date is yet to be confirmed by Bethesda, but the main game is already available on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
