'Fallout 4' Problems, Bugs Latest News: Patch 1.2.33 Brings Fixes Especially For PC Players
Barely a month has passed since Bethesda released the massive open world action role playing game "Fallout 4."
According to reports, the game is deemed by players as "generally pretty glitchy" and as such, its developers are said to be working on the game's first major patch to provide fixes to the game's glitches. But before this major patch comes, the developer is releasing early patches that will provide quick fixes for the meantime, until that major patch arrives.
Patch 1.2.33 is latest patch released for the game and according to the report, it is a patch that aims to provide fixes so that the game can run smoothly and can be rid of the initial glitches that have been noted by its players. This particular patch also provides a fix that makes PC playing much better.
According to the report, PC players will be benefiting from the patch's addition of a remapping feature to the numeric keypad of their PCs. This meant that players will now be able to assign specific inputs to their NumPad keys, from shortcuts to interaction prompts. This also meant that PC players can have a small advantage over players who do not have a keyboard. The patch is also said to provide improvements in the game's memory and stability.
As for the fixes that come with the patch, there are specific fixes for what happens to weapons after the player completes Reunions, for not being able to complete the quest When Freedom Calls, for the Launcher not being able to save the setting for God Rays Quality properly, and the fix for when the game crashes after the player jumps into the water or when players is reloading games that have been saved. Another fix for Confidence Man has to do with the player's health continuously regenerating.
Those players who have signed up to be part of the Bethesda's beta update program are scheduled to receive the patch first. Otherwise, players will be able to download the patch through Steam after they log in. The PC version of the patch will be arriving first, while the console version will follow after the PC release.
