'Fear the Walking Dead' Air Date and Spoilers: What Went Down on Episode 12, 'Pillar of Salt,' Spoilers for Episode 13, 'Date of Death'
AMC's hit zombie series "Fear the Walking Dead" just aired its Season 2 Episode 12, "Pillar of Salt," Sunday. We've finally figured out where Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) took off - apparently she was the one who stole Strand's (Colman Domingo) truck to reunite with ex-fiance Will in New Mexico. The whole gang of survivors reunite at the supermarket, everyone is cooped up in the hotel, safe and cozy...but the illusion doesn't last long.
What went down in Ep. 2.12, 'Pillar of Salt'
If you haven't watched "Fear the Walking Dead" Episode 2.12 yet, then fair warning: spoilers ahead. Relationships between the store and the colonia are no longer as cozy as before. When one of the Oxy delivery guys got caught fleeing, Nick (Frank Dillane) and Luciana are forced to find a solution. Alejandro, on the other hand, was furious at the idea of people sneaking out of their community, and adamantly refused to let Nick and Luciana (Danay Garcia) take the oxy despite the gang's desperate need for water. Nick decided to go at it alone and trade with the gang instead.

Back at the hotel, things are going well. The hotel residents have learned how to make it a functioning place to stay: planting food, making ice, catching fish. Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) is even taking surfing lessons from Hector (Ramses Jimenez). But the illusion of safety is quickly shattered at a knock on the door - quite literally, as Strand gets stabbed in the gut by Ilene (Brenda Strong), who blamed Strand for taking her away.
"Fear the Walking Dead" fans need not worry, however, as he survived the stabbing. Madison (Kim Dickens) and another hotel guest quickly sprung into action. He does, however, need meds, so Elena (Karen Bethzabe), Oscar (Andres Londono) and Madison headed out for supplies. Ilene, on the other hand, is made prisoner of the hotel, to serve as a warning to other guests that there will be swift retribution against violence in the hotel.
Coincidentally, the place they knew about was the same supermarket the colonia was trading with. They exchange their fish and ice for meds, but Madison nearly got them killed after she overheard a gang member interrogating a man. They were talking about the "gringo with the ratty hair," which Madison quickly recognized as Nick. She started to demand answers but was urged to leave before something happened to them.
Back at the hotel, Madison lit up the entire hotel using the generator to attract Nick. Alicia then discouraged her and asked why she was not good enough for her mother. Madison came to her senses, but not before Travis (Cliff Curtis) spotted the signal.
What could happen in Ep. 2.13, 'Date of Death'
The next episode on "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 has an ominous title: "Date of Death." The official synopsis teased that they're having a hard time containing the increasing number of guests, including someone who was "familiar but unexpected." Could it be Nick?
