'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 2 Spoilers: Fans Will See More Horrifying Scenes Next Season, Says Cliff Curtis

"Fear the Walking Dead," which is the prequel to the fan-favorite zombie series "The Walking Dead," will be back for a second run next year, and fans can't wait to know more details about it. Cliff Curtis, who plays Travis Manawa in the series, said that he and his family will have to endure more horrifying scenes in the upcoming season.

During the actor's interview with Comic Book Resources, Curtis said that he wishes his character to finally transition from being a peace-loving citizen to a major zombie-killing badass. "Just to see him get a little more action, because he's crossed a line by the end of Season 1, and I just don't think he can maintain this idea that the zombies are human. He's probably shifted and changed in his worldview, and it's going to be interesting to see how that plays out. I'm looking forward to that, really," he said. Fans are definitely excited to see him change in the next season.

The 47-year-old actor also teased their ocean-bound escape from the zombie apocalypse, and he said that he loved being out in the sea. "I love the potential of the story that's going to come out of that. What's great about it is that it's the next logical thing to do, right? I think it's going to be real exciting. I get the feeling we're not going to be the only ones at sea," Curtis said.

The last time that Travis and his dysfunctional family were seen, they were at Strand's (Colman Domingo) mansion, preparing to board the rich man's boat named Abigail. According to Cross Map, Strand may play a vital role in the series, since the website said that he knows how to "overcome the zombies." The report also noted that the reason why the survivors in "The Walking Dead" ended up on land, and not in the sea, will be explained in the second season of "Fear the Walking Dead."

The second season of "Fear the Walking Dead" will return next year on AMC.
