'Five Nights At Freddy's World' News: Get the Game Free, Comes With New Features
"Five Nights at Freddy's World" is once again available to play. According to a report by Cinema Blend, the game can now be downloaded via GameJolt and this time it's downloadable for free. The creator of the game, Scott Cawthon, made sure to make it available at no cost in order to make up for the first launch mistake.
Cawthon released the game last month on Steam with a price tag of $10. But he pulled it off the platform and offered refunds for customers just a few days after its release due to poor reviews. Gamers complained about a couple of key features including the lack of descriptions for the attacks and other issues that were not addressed. But with the latest release, fans can be assured that the game has now improved.
With a file size of only 237 MB, the game will not take too long to download. And as previously promised, fans can expect to see a full 3D backdrop applied for each location in the game. The 8-bit digitalized world with old arcade-style, scanline screen filter is now gone.
Cawthon also fixed the issue concerning the lack of descriptions for the attacks and moves. The game now has light descriptions for each attack, defense move and also for buff and status effects. Aside from that, item descriptions are also now available when the player visits the NPC vendors that are found around the overworld of the game. Reports state that the maps are noted to be the same except that they now feature assets that are more in line with original trailer.
The game's description also remains the same. In "Five Nights at Freddy's World," gamers will be playing as Freddy Fazbear and together with his friends, they must find answers to glitches in a world called the flipside. Investigating the problem will lead to restoration of peace in their world. But they will need to be careful as something sinister may be hiding and waiting.
