Floyd Mayweather News: Unofficial Conor McGregor Facebook Account Responds To 'Money May's' Racism Allegations

An anonymous Facebook account claiming to be Conor McGregor responded to Floyd Mayweather's cries of racism in an unforgiving manner.

It all stemmed from Mayweather's initial claims about racism being rampant in the realm of prizefighting. In a lengthy rant he made through an interview with media outlet Fight Hype, "Money May" first questioned why a number of African-American boxers are not being given that much attention.

He then criticized the manner of which undefeated Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin picks his opponents, noting that whenever Mayweather did the same thing, he was, in turn, being lambasted for "cherry picking." The retired undefeated boxer then went after the people who were throwing praises towards UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.

According to Mayweather, it was a little too "biased" for the people to be patting "The Notorious" for talking trash, but whenever he did it, he would be branded as "cocky" and "arrogant".

On Wednesday, an unofficial Facebook page of Conor McGregor posted a lengthy response to Mayweather's official fan page. First off, "McGregor" took note of his Irish blood, noting how "men, women, children, cats and dogs" stop to watch his fights.

He then went after Mayweather's manner of picking opponents, noting how the man once touted as boxing's pound-for-pound king should have fought Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao years ago, instead of in 2015. The fake Conor McGregor account also belittled Mayweather's efforts when the latter fought Andre Berto in September for his retirement fight.

The message ended with McGregor's now iconic post-fight statement after beating Aldo at UFC 194.

"Just remember this…you can have all the money and power in the world and drive all the fastest cars but like I said before precision beats power and timing beats speed. Enjoy yourself buddy yeah..ya little bitch," the message reads.

The post has since been deleted, but did go viral within hours after it was posted.
