'Forza Motorsport 6' Update: Leaked Details Reveal Upcoming Expansion, Includes Porsche Add-On
Racing video game "Forza Motorsport 6" is going to get new DLC soon and fans are already thrilled to have it especially since a leaked product listing has revealed the details of the upcoming expansion. According to Techno Buffalo, the information came via Amazon and it said that it will cost $19.99.
However, the listing has already been edited and no longer comes with specific details. Fortunately, there were some who were able to get hold of the information. Game Spot reported that it was revealed through the listing that the game will "explore the past, present, and future" of Porsche with an all-new guided Porsche Anthology campaign experience.
It will be introducing 48 new events and will come with 20 Porsche cars that range from early models like the 1957 356A Speedster to the 2015 #19 Porsche Team 919 Hybrid. Nine out of the 20 cars will be brand new models to Xbox One, perhaps hinting that some of the Porsches from "Forza Horizon 2" will be making an appearance. Moreover, there will also be new "Porsche-themed multiplayer Leagues, Hoppers, and Rivals events."
It is also said to debut the Virginia International Raceway which will be a new track that comes along with seven different track configurations, each with day, night and wet configurations. Gaming Bolt also noted that there will be new achievements worth 250 Gamerscore. Players will also get the chance to collect Porsche-exclusive Mods and Badges.
It's no secret anymore though that the game will be getting Porsche add-ons. During the "Forza Motorsport 6" preview at E3 last summer, executive producer Ryan Cooper revealed that the game will be getting Porsche cars. And if the leak is legit, then gamers can look forward to catching the latest DLC soon since it's rumored to have a March 1 release date. At this point, developer Turn 10 Studios has not announced any official details yet.
