'Fuller House' Season 2 Spoilers, Cast Details and Air Date: Netflix Finally Announces Season 2 Premiere Date!

"Have mercy!" Netflix's "Fuller House" has finally announced a release date for its second season. We'll see the Tanner family return to our screens on December 9, just a couple days before Christmas!

Like its first season, "Fuller House" Season 2 will also have 13 episodes. We can only guess that the Thanksgiving episode, featuring the original "Full House" trio John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier, would be one of the first, if not the first, episode that will air on Netflix.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen return?

With the new "Fuller House" Season 2 fast approaching, rumors of Michelle Tanner's return, played by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, make their rounds across the internet again. Unfortunately, Indiewire reported that there are no indications that the twins will return for the "Full House" remake. Jodie Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner, had previously said that the cast had "all but given up" on coaxing the twins to make a cameo at the very least.

What to expect from 'Fuller House' Season 2

With or without the twins, there is no stopping the momentum of "Fuller House," which is currently enjoying high viewership despite mixed critical reviews. Though Netflix notoriously refuses to give out ratings of its television shows, data analysis group Symphony Advanced Media revealed that "Fuller House" Season 1 enjoyed a 14.4-million viewership from the 18-49 US demographic, Indiewire reported.

It's no wonder that "Fuller House" Season 2 packs a lot of surprises to keep fans interested. For one, we're finally going to meet Uncle Joey Gladstone's (Dave Coulier) entire family, including "Ginger," his wife, who is described as enthusiastic, upbeat, and a magic-lover. She is also just as "clueless" as Joey when it comes to parenting, which adds to the fun!

Jodie Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner, is bound to get a new boyfriend in "Fuller House" Season 2! According to TVLine, the new beau is called "Jimmy," a good-looking musician with just a little hint of weirdness. He's sure to be a perfect match for the downtrodden Stephanie, who just recently found out she can't get pregnant.

"Fuller House" fans would also get to see several homages to the original "Full House" series, such as the guest appearance of New Boys On The Block! Their appearance on the show is a callback to "The Beach Boys" episode in the original series, where the Tanner family went to their concert!

We can't wait! Catch "Fuller House" Season 2 on Netflix this coming December!
