Gal Gadot News: 'Wonder Woman' Star Cuts Ties with Former Management Team
With "Wonder Woman" turning out to be the biggest summer blockbuster in the US, Gal Gadot's star is expected to shine brighter as she is slated to work on several other projects despite ending her working relationship with her former management team.
According to an exclusive report from the Hollywood Reporter, the "Wonder Woman" star has recently terminated her contract with Untitled Entertainment. However, the publication did not reveal the reason for Gadot's departure and instead reported that the actress is still being represented by WME and Sloane Offer.
Whatever the reason for Gadot's decision to cut ties with her former management company, it is apparent that the actress will have a busy year ahead of her. Apart from appearing as Diana/Wonder Woman once more in the highly anticipated "Justice League" this November and reprising her Amazonian warrior-princess role once again for "Wonder Woman 2," reports claim that Gadot is also in talks the MGM supernatural movie with Bradley Cooper, "Deeper."
While the actress is expected to be busy with the upcoming promotion of "Justice League," which is slated to hit the theaters this November 17, she is also slated to host the Oct. 7 episode of "Saturday Night Live," which will feature Sam Smith as its musical guest.
Of all the upcoming projects of Gadot, though, there is no denying that fans are looking forward to the arrival of "Wonder Woman" sequel, which is slated to arrive in a little more than two years from now. However, as it has been announced that "Star Wars Episode 9" will also be occupying the same release week with that of "Wonder Woman 2," it is now suspected that the sequel to Gadot's blockbuster may either move up to an earlier schedule or wait for summer 2020 for its release.
However, without any official announcement from Warner Bros as of this writing, the release date for "Wonder Woman 2" still stands on Dec. 20, 2019.
