Galaxy Note Edge Released in Japan, Korea and US Next
Samsung's newest smartphone, the Galaxy Note Edge, is expected to come out early November for the U.S., whereas Japan already has their hands on the curve edged smartphone. Japanese network carriers NTT DoCoMo and KDDI introduced the smartphone to its customers.
In South Korea, network carriers LG U+ and KT will be offering the phone to subscribers. In the U.S., wireless carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless will be offering the phone but there is no definite pricing yet and the release has been noted as "later this year."
Unlike the other Galaxy Note, the Galaxy Note 4, the Galaxy Note Edge will be less widely available worldwide and only a few select countries will be getting the handset.

The Note Edge has a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset and a quad-core 2.7GHz processor, with an Adreno 420 GPU. It comes in 32GB and 64GB storage variants with microSD card support of up to 128GB and 3GB of RAM.
It runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat but it will likely be upgradable to Android Lollipop.
The Note Edge is much like its Note 4 brother except with a curved right edge screen which behaves independently of the main screen. On the edged screen, it contains some contextual controls, app shortcuts, notifications like sports scores, and even stock information. When on standby, it will display the date, time, and alarm information.
