'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: HBO Teases What's In Store Next Season
The award-winning network, HBO, recently released a promo that previews what the network has in store for its loyal viewers, and fans got a brief glimpse of what they can expect in the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones."
According to the International Business Times (IBT), Daenarys (Emilia Clarke) will be saved by Drogon from being attacked by the Sons of Harpy. The former queen of the Dothraki was seen in the sneak peek looking disheveled and shaken, since the website says that the Dothraki have something bad planned for her.
Also, after Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) went on the run to escape Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), the latter decided to hunt both down, and the preview from HBO shows Bolton looking for them. Fans are curious if the evil character will get a hold of his runaway wife in the next season.
Meanwhile, in another report from IBT, Bolton is rumored to use an impostor to show the North that he married a Stark, just like in the books. According to the website, Bolton plans to ravage the North to establish his power, which may start the "Battle of the Bastards" with Jon Snow (Kit Harrington). The article also said that some fans predict that Bolton will die in the battle, but the story is not yet confirmed by any of the spoilers roaming around the Internet.
In other news, fans should expect another showdown between Davos (Liam Cunningham) and Melisandre (Carice Van Houten), according to Design & Trend. The website noted that a scene involves Melisandre and Davos having an argument, and fans are speculating that the fight might be because of two possible reasons.
First is because the latter has now discovered Melisandre's participation in Shireen's (Kerry Ingram) death; second, it could be that Davos found out that the Red Woman will help bring Jon Snow back to life. Whatever it is, it is something that viewers are looking forward to once the show returns.
"Game of Thrones" will be back April next year, on HBO.
