'General Hospital' Spoilers: 'General Hospital' Will Be Pre-Empted on Christmas Day

Soap operas air every day, almost nonstop, but even these dramas take a break from time to time. Fans will be missing "General Hospital" this Friday, Dec. 25, since the show will be pre-empted due to Christmas Day.

Meanwhile, before "General Hospital" takes a very short break, viewers will be treated with a lot of "shockers." According to Inquistr, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will be hurt upon seeing Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Jason (Billy Miller) together at the Nutcracker Gala. She will also tell Jason that she still loves him, and that she broke it off with Patrick (Jason Thompson).

She explains to him, "Because I loved him, but not the way I love you," and many fans were saddened for Sam. Viewers can't wait to see what will happen next to their love triangle in the coming days, since Jason will apparently remember something about his past, and it might involve his life with Sam.

On the other hand, Celebrity Dirty Laundry said that the highlight of this week will be about Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Apparently, Robin will take a chemical that will slow her heart down, and will fake her own death to finally get Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) arrested. She will be saved by Patrick, and he'll take her to be with her daughter, Emma (Brooklyn Rae Silzer). Fans wonder if Robin's celebration will last or if it is just the calm before the storm.

Meanwhile, Julian (William DeVry) finally proposed to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), who initially thought it was something bad that he'll say, but was ecstatic to know that he wanted to marry her.

The synopsis of today's episode reads, "Alexis and Julian have reason to celebrate. Michael confronts Sabrina with questions about the baby. Tracy's rose-colored glasses come off."

Watch "General Hospital" every Monday to Friday on ABC. The show will take a short break on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, but will be back again next Monday, Dec. 28.
