'General Hospital' Spoilers: New Year Episode Sees Consequences For DA Paul After Cheating With Ava
District Attorney Paul Hornsby, played by Richard Burgi, will have his philandering ways catch up with him in the next episode of the daytime soap opera "General Hospital." His ex-wife Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has caught him pants down and in bed with Ava Jerome (Maura West) who is a known criminal and mobster. According to a spoiler report in Celeb Dirty Laundry, Tracy will feel so betrayed that she will even consider throwing Paul out of the Quartermaine house.
This will not bode well for Paul, who needs to protect his reputation as a lawyer and as a District Attorney. Given his association with Ava and Tracy's discovery of such, this will threaten his plans in Port Charles, where he is using his DA position as a cover for covert criminal activities. According to the spoiler report, no matter how hard he tries to patch things up with Tracy, he will still end up out of House Quartermaine.
Tracy seems to have accepted the fact that Paul was not sincere in his feelings for her and their son, Dillon, and that he was merely using her to keep his cover. Aside from throwing him out of the house, she will also threaten to expose Paul's connections with the mob because of his relationship with Ava. Paul will eventually end up back in a hotel room at the MetroCourt, according to the spoiler report.

With Tracy on his back about his mob connections, Paul will likely lay low in his dealings with the mob for the meantime. This may mean lesser contact with Ava.
Another problem that Paul needs to worry about eventually is the return of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to Port Charles. Anna gets in touch with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) once again and tells him that they can continue their plans to "take down" Paul.
According to another Celeb Dirty Laundry report, outside the Quartermaine house, the Corinthos mob family will be dealing with internal conflict between Morgan and Sonny, especially after Morgan puts his life in danger. Jason (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) may have a chance to start a relationship when they share a kiss during New Year's.
