Teresa Giudice Daughter Gia Talks About Visiting Mom in Jail
Teresa Giudice's daughter Gia is giving fans an update on how her mother is coping in prison.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 14-year old revealed that she, her father Joe, and her sisters Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5, are in constant communication with her mom.
"We can talk to her on a daily [basis] and we have access to e-mailing her whenever we want," said Gia. "So that's amazing, it definitely helps with like coping with missing her and stuff."
The family made their first visit to see their mother earlier this month, and Gia said that her mother was "doing amazing".
She also revealed that her father Joe was holding down the fort at home while his wife is behind bars.
"I mean, my dad has been amazing. Like, he's honestly the rock. He's helping us so much," said Gia.
Meanwhile, Gia is turning to music to help her through these difficult times. The 14-year old is a member of 3KT, a girl band that she has formed with her friends Alexis Mattea and Cristianna Cardinale. Gia spoke about her new song, "Just 13," which she penned with her voice teacher.
"It was really just a song based on my experience and what I'm going through, and it was really just me and her like really writing it out and just expressing ourselves," said Gia. "I just want [my fans] to know that I'm okay, but also give them a little input of what I'm going through."
E! News has obtained a first look at the music video for "Just 13," and the haunting video shows Gia singing alone with images of family photos including her mom flashing on the screen.
At the end of the music video is a home video of Teresa telling her daughter, "It's not goodbye, it's saying see you soon."
Gia told E! New that she had been helping and supporting her mother leading up to her prison time.
"I was with her every step of the way … My sisters, they really had no idea. They would see things in like [a] magazine but they really had no idea. It was really just me because I was older, I was 13 at the time and I did understand," said Gia.
