“It is great to witness people enjoying the cards,” says Morrow. “When they actually realize the inscription inside the card is a Bible verse, something clicks and a door is opened.”

Featuring fun images matched with “inspirational quotes” from the Bible, c4yourself cards are perfect for witnessing in today’s “curious” culture, Morrow adds.

“I think in the general culture today, people like to look into things for ourselves,” says the Cincinnati resident. “We’re a technology-based society and we like to get onto the internet to check things out. And when it come to sharing my faith, I think it’s easier to ‘slip it in’ in a more intriguing manner.”

For Morrow, the concept for c4yourself cards came to her when she was unable to find a Christian-themed day planner to her liking.

“A lot of them were sterile or had a lot of doves or images like that,” Morrow explains. “And not that those things are bad, but it’s that I can connect with Jesus everywhere and through everything in my life, and I wanted something that could express that.”

And it was then, Morrow says, that God “planted a dream” in her heart to make an easier method to introduce people to His Word.

“I thought if I’m desiring this, then other people are also desiring something simple that allows you to be able to express your faith in a non-threatening way,” she shares.

For Morrow, her journey to “plant a seed” in others has also been her own “journey of faith,” as the former global software marketer relates in her experience of leaving her corporate job in October of 2004.

“I had just got my Master’s and I was in a really good place in my career and a lot of my identity was attached to [my work] as well,” she says, “but God has been beside me all the way, and through the venture I’ve been able to experience a connection with the Lord that I’ve never felt before.”

One way Morrow has been able to “connect” with God since starting c4yourself has been through the large amounts of time that she now spends in the Word, looking for the right Scriptures to be used for her cards.

“I’ve had a yearning for a while to spend more time in [the Bible],” says Morrow, “but this has kind of been a natural flow for me to learn more about God while looking for the right verse for the cards.”

And what has Morrow learned about God so far?

“I’ve learned that God’s Word is alive and It’s living and breathing,” she says. “And the Lord wants to speak to us everyday and He wants to put a touch on our lives everyday.”

“In Isaiah it says that God’s Word will not return void, and I know that a purpose that God has for this card line is that people will actually receive His Word into their hearts,” she continues. “And I know that God’s Word is what brings life and heals as it ministers to people.”
