'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Spoilers: Terrorists Attack in Finale?
"Grey's Anatomy" fans are gearing up for the last episodes leading up the season finale next month, but rumors this week suggest what exactly may be in store for them.
Fans already know that Sandra Oh is leaving the series. The actress has portrayed Cristina Yang since the first season of ABC's hit medical drama, but is leaving in the May 15 finale. "Grey's" followers also know that the season finale of the series always tend to end in disaster, making the weeks leading up to the season 10 send off an especially exciting time.
According to reports this week, Yang's sendoff is sure to be a tear-jerker. However, her departure will not be the center of the episode, according to TV Guide. Instead, the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial will be treating numerous victims after a possible act of terrorism in Seattle.

Nevertheless, it is still unknown if Yang will die to end her time on the series, or if she will simply move on. Regardless of how Oh exits, "Grey's" creator Shonda Rhimes has guaranteed fans that the actress will get "the exit she deserves." And while Oh is leaving, main cast members Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey recently signed new two-year deals to stay on show.
During an interview with TVLine back in August, Dempsey discussed his future portraying beloved character, Derek Shepherd, also known as Mcdreamy.
"Everything is open to conversation at this point," Dempsey said. "Grey's has been such a remarkable ride. Shonda [Rhimes] has been incredibly supportive. I enjoy Grey's more than ever in many ways. Our relationship has grown considerably. We've all matured of the last 10 years. So it would be a shame to end this."
Meanwhile, the upcoming installment of "Grey's" is entitles "Go It Alone," scheduled to air this Thursday, April 17. The synopsis is as follows: "Pressure mounts for Derek both at work and home. Meanwhile, Meredith helps Cristina write an acceptance speech in case she wins an award; April and Jackson are at odds over big marital issues; and Callie and Arizona attempt to reestablish their bond."
"Grey's Anatomy" airs on ABC Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST.
