'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12 News, Spoilers: Ben's Actions Get Him in Trouble With Miranda Again

Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George) will once again find himself facing the wrath of his wife and boss, Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson), in an upcoming episode of ABC's long-running medical drama series "Grey's Anatomy."

A few episodes back, Bailey was forced to suspend Warren after he performed impromptu surgery in the psych ward without permission. In episode 18, titled "There's a Fine, Fine Line," Warren will again be forced to disregard the hospital's rules and will, and for the second time, be sanctioned by his wife. This time, however, Bailey could be imposing a stricter punishment.

According to the press release from ABC, episode 18 will see Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital going into lockdown after a child goes missing inside its premises. During the lockdown, Warren will decide to perform surgery on a pregnant woman without the necessary surgical equipment. Following his actions, Bailey has to face the consequences of her husband's actions and decide whether or not what he did was justified.

In an interview with Yahoo! TV earlier this month, George, who has played the role of Warren since season 6, said that though it may look like having his wife as a boss has its advantages, it actually causes more tension than anything else.

"I completely understand Ben's situation where he's, like, it looks like he has a cushy situation because of his personal relationship," the actor said. " … Ben can't kind of screw up — he can't screw up at all. The tiniest screw-up will get him more grief at home, where the average resident might get a 'don't do that anymore.' Ben's going to get a whole conversation where he's told 'you reflect on me,' yada yada."

Meanwhile, in episode 19, titled "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)," Bailey will still be dealing with the consequences of Warren's decision and will form a committee to determine the necessary disciplinary action against her husband. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) will make a choice that will permanently alter her relationship with Callie (Sara Ramirez) while April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) will attempt to reconcile for the sake of their unborn child.

Episodes 18 and 19 will air in a two-hour event on April 14.

"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
