'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers: Tulloch Shares Details About Eve
The return of "Grimm" season 5 also brought the unexpected return of a fan favorite actress.
It was recently revealed that Bitsie Tulloch had returned to "Grimm" to take on an interesting spin on her past character. Tullock will be playing the role of Eve, which is a character who encapsulates the memories of her past character, Juliette.
Previous reports explained that Eve is a different person from Juliette, which means that Tulloch will be in for a challenge. Her mysterious character is expected to play the antagonist for the upcoming episodes.
Tulloch spoke to TV Line about how her new character will affect Nick. She stated, "Nothing can get her off her mission, which is basically to eradicate Black Claw. In her head, that's the only reason [she's] alive right now and not wreaking havoc and destruction on people [she loves]. What better antagonist do you have than the woman who is the love of his life, whom he trusts implicitly, to be the one who is now out for blood and involved in the death of his mother?"
With that, fans can expect that the dynamics between Nick and Tulloch's character will be different compared to his relationship with Juliette. Meanwhile, Tulloch also explained that her character will not feel any sentiments toward the child of Juliette and Nick, named Adalind.
During the interview, Tulloch stated that when she was first called in to return, she was skeptical about it. In addition, she also explained that they tried their best to keep her appearance a secret. They would take out Tulloch's chair out of the set in order to prevent for passersby to get an evidence of her return.
Nevertheless, fans are excited to see Tulloch's new character in the episodes to come, regardless of her new persona.
"Grimm" season 5 is expected to return with an episode titled "Eve of Destruction" on NBC this Jan. 29.
