GTA V Online Petition for PC Version Receives 700,000 Signatures

An online petition created to encourage Rockstar to make a PC version of GTA V has received its 700,000 signature this month.

The petition was released shortly after the game initially launched for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It received around 600,000 signatures by Oct. of 2013.

It reads "Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people's lives and it's a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform."

GTA V was released in September of last year and the game went on to generate $800 million in just 24 hours and more than $1 billion after three days. A PC version would only enhance these numbers.

There are also rumors of PS4 and Xbox One versions launching.

Romanian retailer Altex has versions for both systems listed on its official website. It also has a release date for them which is said to be on June 15, 2015.

This Romanian-based seller has posted up many listings in the past that have ended up actually being released. Based on that, there is a good chance that the game will launch for the new consoles.

Rockstar never commented on a PS4 or Xbox One version of GTA V.

A new High-Life DLC for GTA V Online that is expected to launch in the spring will allow players to purchase even more apartments.

Polygon reports that players will be able to buy apartments with the update in a few different locations including the Callisto Apartments, Augury Insurance, CNT Building, Celltowa, Yacht Club, Puerto Del Sol, Von Crastenburg-Richman and Schlongberg Sachs.

The High Life DLC is also expected to bring new clothing, weapons and vehicles that will be usable in the GTA V campaign mode.
