Gwen Stefani New Album 2015 News: Album Delayed Again - 'I've Been Working on It'
It was in October last year during a Twitter Q&A that Gwen Stefani spilled the beans about releasing her third album on December. It has been months since and the "Hollaback Girl" still hasn't got around to releasing the album.
Fans were quick to forgive her because she was impeccably busy with coaching her "The Voice" talents. But now that Stefani returned the coach chair back to Christina Aguilera, fans were quick to speculate that the singer-songwriter may be busy recording for her much-anticipated album.
During the interview with Ryan Seacrest over the radio, Stefani was pressed for details about the release date:
"I've been working on it. I feel excited now because when I first started working on it, I was like, 'I'm gonna put it out this year!' I was very kind of rushed about it. Now I feel settled in, I had the baby – he's going to be a year old, can you believe that?! – I feel like now I'm going to go back in on and do some more writing and be a little more relaxed about it," she said.
Looks like fans have to settle with the singer's collaborations with Pharell in "Spark The Fire" and "Shine," which was used in the Paddington movie. She also worked with Benny Blanco and Ryan Tedder in "Baby Don't Lie," which was recently remixed by Kaskade and KillaGraham.
According to LA Times, Stefani's new album under Interscope will be co-released with Mad Love. The singer is also said to be working on a new song as a follow-up for No Doubt's 2012 album. "Push and Shove."
The No Doubt frontwoman is currently working with MasterCard's Priceless Surprises campaign. MasterCard will also support the singer's upcoming album, tours, and shows with No Doubt.
Stefani's third album is among Idolator's Top 15 Most Anticipated Pop Albums of 2015.
