Happy Cows Leap for Joy After Being Let Out for Spring (VIDEO)
Is it safe to assume that we're all ready for spring? Enough with hearing "inches of snow," "ice storm," and "polar vortex." And when spring finally gets here, I'll likely have the same reaction as these cows in Germany.
This cow-herd has been cooped up in the barn for the winter, and this is the moment they're first let out for the spring. As soon as they step onto the fresh, green pasture, they start running and leaping around, stretching their legs and enjoying their newfound freedom.
And the cows didn't know it, but if you scroll to the beginning of the video, you'll learn that these retired dairy cows were headed to the slaughterhouse until a foundation intervened to save them.
