Hilary Duff: 'It's Tough to Always Be Photographed' as a New Mom

New mom Hilary Duff is learning the problematic side of being a celebrity and having a baby while trying to dodge paparazzi.

"It's hard having a baby and having paparazzi follow you all around all the time," Duff told Yahoo! News. "I haven't had to explain it to my son yet, what's going on. For the most part they respect me and they respect my space, but it's tough to always be photographed."

Duff's husband is former professional hockey player Mike Comrie, so celebrity is definitely something baby Luca will have to get used to.

Duff said she also has plans of returning to the recording studio. With three studio albums and one Christmas album under her belt, the 2000s were huge for Duff in acting and performing.

"I want to work on my music, but it's tough to be pulled away from Luca. Whatever I work on, I want it to be worth missing time with him," she said in her interview with Yahoo.

The former teen sensation is currently working Johnson Baby Cares to help mothers maintain a positive attitude about parenting.
