'Hitman' News: IO Interactive to Reveal New Content for the Game Later this Month

IO Interactive has announced that it will be revealing a new content arriving at "Hitman" later this month.

It was in August when IO first hinted that it would be delivering some great news to the players of the popular game, "Hitman." True enough, the studio has announced recently that it will be making a reveal on the new content of the game this Oct. 24, encouraging the players of the game to mark the said date.

As of this writing, though, no one can really tell what the new content will be all about. However, it will not be the game's season 2 contrary to what some people may have expected earlier.

"That's the date when we will reveal brand new content for the game. We're going to let the announcement itself do all the talking, but there is one thing we want to clarify before then; this upcoming content is not 'Season 2.' We're saying that now to keep expectations in check," goes a portion of the studio's announcement on its official site.

Since the studio has been honest in saying that the announcement of the upcoming content has nothing to do with the long-anticipated "Season 2," some opine that the announcement will come in the form of a video reveal. Nonetheless, players are still clueless as to what exactly the new content will have to offer.

Prior to the reveal of the new content, though, players of the game are already anticipating the arrival of "Hitman's" upcoming expansion pack, the "Master Scarecrow Challenge" packs, which is arriving on Oct. 13.

The "Master Scarecrow Challenge" pack will deliver five new challenges to the players of the game, and the completion of each challenge will enable players to unlock a new item that they can be used in all locations.

10 new Contracts are also expected to arrive in the game later this month.
