HIV Cure Update: Doctor Who Claims to Have Cured Charlie Sheen Says Goat Milk Is the Key

Following the desperate measures that led Charlie Sheen to go off his meds last year and seek treatment in Mexico, the Aussie doctor who claimed to have cured him is now claiming that goat milk can cure HIV.

According to The Australian News, Dr. Samir Chachoua told "Real Time with Mill Maher" that he has "cured countries" suffering from the virus through the use of milk obtained from goats with caprine arthritis encephalitis virus (CAEV). CAEV infects goats and is a retrovirus that immunologically cross-reacts with HIV.

"This virus [CAEV] destroys HIV and protects people who drink it for life," Chachoua explained. The doctor is now infamously known for injecting his blood with that of Sheen's out of his confidence in the serum that he came up with.

Ever since he came out the public about his condition, Sheen has vowed to help find a cure for the virus not only for himself but for other people who are hoping to live a normal life minus the infection.

The 50-year-old actor told the media last year that he stopped taking his medication since he wanted to try Chachoua's rehabilitative system. However, a representative reported about a week later that the Hollywood star had to get back on his meds after his HIV numbers went "up."

Sheen did admit that during the first stages of Chachoua's treatment, the results were "incredible." He also warned fans not to try the risky move he made of getting off his medication since he just presented himself to undergo the experiment on his own will and not everybody can withstand his methods.

Aside from claiming that he cured Sheen, Chachoua also said that in 2006 he was able to totally erase HIV and chikungunya from the community of Comoros, an island off the coast of Africa.

While the doctor's claims have not been verified yet, it is also reasonable to recall that he is not licensed to practice medicine in the United States.
