'Homeland' Season 5 Episode 7 Spoilers: Sneak Peek Shows Saul Admitting to Allison About Leaking CIA Documents
In the upcoming episode of "Homeand," Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) will finally admit to Allison Carr (Miranda Otto) that he slipped some downloaded CIA documents to Otto During (Sebastian Koch), as seen in the promo.
According to International Business Times, Allison wants to know why Saul passed the information to Otto, and was seen speaking with Ivan Krupin (Mark Ivanir) in the sneak peek of the next episode, which is titled "Oriole." She said, "Saul Berenson smuggled the thumb drive out of the building, and then met with Otto During, and it's gone." She also said that the drive contains more than a thousand files, and Krupin was not happy to hear about it.
According to Melty, what Saul did was so out of his character, and the website noted that he was one of the "good guys." Viewers thought that Saul would never go against the government office for either love or money, and fans want to know if he is actually working for someone else.
Allison then realized that Saul would only do it for one person, which is Carrie (Claire Danes). Ivan said that the former CIA intelligence officer is dead, but Allison counters him saying that they only saw a photo of her dead, but not her actual lifeless body.
An episode synopsis was posted on TV Guide, and it reads, "Carrie reconnects with old friends; Saul opens up to Allison.
Meanwhile, in the last episode of "Homeland," viewers saw Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) getting worse because of a gunshot wound, but he still managed to kill someone, according to Melty. A stranger helps him out in Berlin, and now that he's gaining his strength back, fans are excited to see if he'll finally meet Carrie face-to-face.
