In their final meeting of the season, the Houston Rockets host the Miami Heat at the Toyota Center in the regular season of the National Basketball Association.

The Heat are doing relatively well this season as they are a few games over the .500 mark and that is good in the Eastern Conference. They are battling teams like the Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics for position in the East for the playoffs and getting wins over tough Western teams is essential for them.
On the other hand, the Rockets are hovering around the .500 mark so far this season and that is uncharacteristic for the team. It was understood by many that the Rockets will again be a West contender but issues have seen them slip down the West standings.
They still have a strong squad with James Harden and Dwight Howard leading the team, but the Rockets definitely need more to spark their season or miss out on making the post-season later on in the campaign.
In their first meeting of the season, the Heat and Rockets played at the AmericanAirlines Arena where the Heat established their dominance en route to a 109-89 victory.
The game was led by the Rockets for the first half of the game until a disastrous third quarter saw Houston only score 12 points while allowing 31 for the Heat.
Even worse, that was duplicated in the fourth quarter where Houston only scored 14 points and allowed the Heat to get 34 markers to turn the tide and get the win.
