For Annalise Keating (Viola Davis), it was never a dull moment as the season went to an end. No one ever saw the possibility of Michaela (Aja Naomi King) and Asher (Matt McGorry) to hook up. What's even shocking is that they hooked up not just once but twice.

Furthermore, Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) and Connor (Jack Falahee) agreed to move to California to escape the chaos that is surrounding Annalise. The tech whiz, however, changed his mind and did everything to get a job. On the other hand, Connor received an acceptance letter from Stanford University. Oliver deletes the e-mail and calls the university pretending to be Connor and informed the educational institution that he no longer wants to transfer school.

In a bloody tub, Caleb Hapstall (Kendrick Sampson) was found unconscious. Annalise informs the police about this and added that he is the serial killer that they have been looking for. This then raises the question if it was foul play or suicide. No one will ever know as of yet.

Wes (Alfred Enoch) thinks that wealthy businessman Wallace Mahoney (Adam Arkin) is his father, while he continuously searches for his mother. Wes approaches Wallace and introduces himself as his son and while face to face with each other, Wallace was shot in the head from across the street. Who shot him? The question is now in each and every viewer at home.

In this season finale, Frank (Charlie Webber) packed his bags and left his apartment. Frank is weighed down with the thought that his boss knows about him killing Lila (Megan West) for her husband. He also feels responsible for Annalise's miscarriage a decade ago. Is Frank gone for good?

All the hanging questions of the viewers will have to wait for season 3.

As season 2 ended and left viewers all the questions on what may happen next, ABC network has announced the schedule for the release date of "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3. The season is going to hit the small screens in the United States in September 22, 2016,
