'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 2 Spoilers, Plot Recap: Bonnie Cops to Sam's Murder; Nia Asks Annalise to 'Kill' Her

ABC's drama television series "How To Get Away With Murder" returned for its second season last September 24. Defense attorney Annalise Keating is back at work accepting criminal cases, with her five interns from Middleton University and her two associates. According to a report in CarterMatt, this season seems to be as "confusing" as the first one, with each episode providing plot twists that seem to be coming out of nowhere.

The season's episodes so far point to one thing – all of the flash forwards show Annalise having been shot and dying in a pool of her blood.

Based on Vulture's episode review, in episode 4 titled "Skanks Get Skanked," Annalise is hired to handle the case of a teenager named Zoe, who claimed that she accidentally killed her best friend by stabbing her 50 times.

Annalise, with some of her interns, work on her defense, but in the process, they discover a tape of Zoe talking to a bunch of friends about killing their teacher. Annalise decided that it is best that they destroy the tape because it will affect their case. The tape, however, eventually ends up in the hands of the prosecution, thanks to one of the interns, Connor, who could not in good conscience accept Annalise's twisted decision.

As the case of the week is happening, Annalise is also facing a moral dilemma of sorts after Nate's wife, Nia, called her to the hospital and asked for her help in ending her life, which is already on a short lease because of cancer. Nia said that Annalise needed to do this for her – after all, Annalise is having an affair with her husband, Nate. This was weighing on Annalise's mind, which affected her performance in the case of the week. In the end, however, Annalise declined Nia's request.

This week, one of the interns, Asher, is already working out a deal with the District Attorney, as he plans to provide testimony about Annalise's involvement in Sam Keating's death. When he does this, however, another thing happens that throws the viewers off – Bonnie said that Annalise did not kill Sam because she did.

Episode 5, which is entitled "Meet Bonnie," is likely to introduce a side of Bonnie that most viewers are not aware of, according to another CarterMatt report. It may focus on how Bonnie has grown to be very protective of her boss, Annalise, as she has done so much for her, such as kill Rebecca, one of the suspects in the Lila Stangard murder.

"How To Get Away With Murder" airs on ABC every Thursday.
