HTC One E9+ Release Date: Flagship Variant Will Be More Powerful Than The Original
The HTC One M9 is undeniably one of the finest Android-powered handsets around. However, it seems HTC is looking to hit various markets with the different versions of its flagship.
The One M9 Plus has become one of the most popular of these versions. A recent report claimed that the M9 Plus will finally make an appearance in an HTC event in China on April 8.
However, there is a newcomer in HTC's rumor mill.
According to a report by GSM Arena, another version of the One M9 has just surfaced, bearing the model number A55.
Known as the HTC One E9, the mysterious Android smartphone was listed on HTC's official website in China.
This could mean that the HTC phone may be launching in the country soon. In fact, it could even share the same release date as the One M9 Plus.
Based on previous rumors, the device will boast similar design cues compared to the original One M9.
Alleged specs include a 5.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution screen with 534ppi pixel density. Oddly enough, the phone's listing on HTC's website only pertained to a Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display.
Other features and specs that are expected for the HTC One E9 include a MediaTek MT6795M chipset, which runs on eight CPU cores and supports 64-bit applications.
The camera department is composed of a 13MP primary camera while a 4MP UltraPixel shooter is placed in front.
In the report, the device would also come with dual nano-SIM support, FDD-LTE and TD-LTE networks. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, and dual BoomSound front speakers.
