Huawei Honor 4C Price, Release Date: New Budget Smartphone Unveiled in China, Costs Only $130

Huawei is currently the world's third in terms of smartphone sales, behind Samsung and Apple. But in spite its recent success in the market, the Chinese brand never fails to look back to its humble roots of budget handsets.

According to a report by Phone Arena, Huawei has recently unveiled a new Android-powered handset – the Honor 4C – for the Chinese market.

In the report, the device was launched in the Asian country, aiming at the mass market and budget-conscious consumers.

The Huawei Honor 4C packs a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution, 2GB of RAM and a HiSilicon Kirin 620 chipset.

The device also boasts a rather decent 13MP primary camera, and a 5MP front shooter, 8GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot that can hold up to 32GB of expanded memory.

Summing the specs sheet include the 2,550mAh battery to keep the phone running throughout the day, and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Considering the phone's specs, the Honor 4C is definitely a great buy for only $130 based on current Chinese currency exchange rates.

In the report, the device is currently available through retailers Tmall and Vmall. Available color options include black, blue, gold, pink, or white.
