iPhone 6 Rumors: Leaked Picture Shows Off Front Frame

A new picture of what could be the front frame for the iPhone 6 is making its rounds on the internet.

The photo was published by Apple.club.tw and it appears to be the front LCD frame for the handset. It features metal shielding that would separate the LCD from the remainder of internals, and a metal bracket covering the home button.

The exact measurments of the frame were not confirmed in the report, however, Apple.club claims that this will be the proper size for the upcoming larger iPhone 6 model.

Other rumors point to the iPhone 6  featuring a special haptic feedback function that creates unique vibrations with device while various tasks are performed.

A Chinese mobile phone source known as Laoyaoba says that Apple will ship the new smartphone with a tactile feedback linear motor that allows the user to feel subtle vibrations depending on different app scenarios or with touching different areas on the screen. This new haptic feedback motor will cost twice or three times as much as the vibration motor found on the iPhone 5s.

Apple filed a patent in 2009 which discussed the idea of allowing users to "feel out" the different elements on a web page with haptic feedback. It seems that these older ideas are finally coming to fruition.

The iPhone 6 will come in gold, space grey and silver when it is released later this year.

Photos that were leaked earlier this week via Letemsvetemapplem.eu showed flex cables and three SIM card trays that come in those three color options. All of these components are allegedly made for the iPhone 6.

The three trays basically show that the iPhone 6 will keep the same color options as the iPhone 5s. This is no big surprise as the larger size of the next-gen model is expected to be its main selling point.
