iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X: Which is the Better Choice?

With Apple launching three new iPhones at its Sept. 12 event last week, there are still people wondering what among the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X they should go for.

However, while the iPhone X is the priciest of all the three, tech pundits suggest that it is the best choice for people who want to have a better viewing experience and a more secure way to lock their phones.

Carrying a price tag of $999, the iPhone X is without question the most expensive smartphone that Apple is releasing in the market. However, while the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X all come with Apple's new A11 Bionic processor, which means that all the devices can deliver fast performance, the iPhone X has so much more to offer as compared to the other two iPhones. Nonetheless, some opine that two of the most important features that Apple fans should consider when they are still doubting if they should go for the iPhone X is its OLED screen and Facial Recognition feature.

The iPhone X is the first Apple smartphone to come with an OLED screen. As an OLED screen is capable of displaying deeper blacks and richer contrast, it goes without saying that the iPhone X can provide a better viewing experience as compared to the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus.

However, it is said that the major catch that the iPhone X comes with that cannot be found with the two other new iPhones is its Facial Recognition feature. While Apple shares this distinction with the recently released Samsung Galaxy Note 8, reports claim that the one that comes with the Samsung device is not that reliable when scanning the face.

While it remains unclear as to how the iPhone X's version of the Facial Recognition feature will fare to that of the Galaxy Note 8, as the device is not expected to arrive earlier than November, it is said that it will be a major attraction among the techies once it proves better than that of Samsung.

Tech pundits make it clear, though, that, just because the iPhone X is the better choice among the three, it doesn't mean that the lesser priced iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus is to be ignored. In fact, for people who want to experience an improvement for the iPhone 7, the iPhone 8 is highly recommended.

On the other hand, those who want an improvement on the iPhone 7 and want a bigger screen and a better camera, the iPhone 8 Plus should be their choice.

However, for people who want a better viewing experience and want to safely lock their device, the iPhone X should be a definite choice.
