It was revealed that Rafael, played by Justin Baldoni, will find out that Jane, played by Gina Rodriguez, will still be harboring romantic feelings for someone else. He will learn that Michael, played by Brett Dier, is still the one who has Jane's heart even after Jane gave birth to their son Mateo.

Because of this, Jane and Rafael will be arguing on the issue regarding Mateo's custody. It was stated that Rafael will be hoping to get sole parenting rights over Mateo. With that, Jane will try to find anything she can in order to make sure he does not get her way. She will be seeking the help of Wesley Masters, played by Brian Jordan Alvarez, in order to find more information about Rafael.

Aside from romance, The CW recently released a trailer for the upcoming episode, which showed another shocking revelation. The trailer showed Rogelio, played by Jaime Camil, learning something about his father. After a visit from his mother, it was revealed that his father recently came out as gay.

"Jane the Virgin" season 2 will be airing its new episode this Jan. 25.
