Jenelle Evans' Ex-Husband Arrested; Courtland Rogers Held on $150,500 Bail

Jenelle Evans may be a free woman, but her ex-husband, Courtland Rogers, has been arrested again for failure to appear on a previous charge. It's the latest in a series of legal woes for the young man, only 28, with a criminal history.

Evans and Rogers were due in court on Tuesday in order to finalize their divorce, but Rogers did not show. He was apparently afraid he would be arrested, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Meanwhile, a judge did grant a divorce to Evans, and she later appeared in another court on an unrelated traffic violation, which was taken care of.

"Courtland's felony charge relates back to his April 2013 arrest for possession of heroin with Jenelle," a source told Radar Online. "And the misdemeanor charge is because he didn't show up in court on Tuesday for the case about Jenelle's sister Ashleigh."

According to reports, Rogers is being held on $150,000 bond for the felony charge and $5,000 for the misdemeanor. His inability to make bail previously is what kept him in jail for nearly one year. This time, things will be much more complicated given the higher amount of money and his history with the courts.

"Having to come up with $15,500 for bail is going to be really hard for Courtland. He's probably going to stay in jail for a while," the source added.

Things were always rocky between Evans and Rogers, who were married less than one year before she filed for divorce. In their home state, though, one must wait a full year before a divorce can be granted. Now, Evans is free to marry her current boyfriend, Nathan Griffith, with whom she is expecting her second child, a boy they intend to name Kaiser. It will be the second child for both Evans and Griffith but the first for the two of them together.

"Jenelle thinks it's really sad that he can't stay out of trouble and that he is back in jail," a friend told Radar. "And she's glad she's not married to him anymore."
