Jennifer Lawrence Latest News: "Mother" Star Attends New York Premiere With Film Director/Beau

Oscar award winning actress Jennifer Lawrence stepped out in a plunging white dress for the New York premiere of the Darren Aronofsky-directed film "Mother" along with the director himself, who also happens to be her new beau.

The 27-year-old actress donned an almost bridal dress at the premiere while Aronofsky, 48, wore an all-black three-piece tux. The film star accessorized with a floral headpiece and matching earrings.

Speaking to Vogue about her relationship with the director, Lawrence gushed about his creative prowess.

"When I saw the movie, I was reminded all over again how brilliant he is," she said. "For the past year, I've been dealing with him as just a human...I've been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I'm never confused with him."

Shortly after posing for the cameras, they were joined by Lawrence's "Mother" co-star Javier Bardem, who appeared to be excited about the reunion.

Prior to this, Lawrence has attended other worldwide premieres for the thriller, particularly in London.

Not much has been said about the film's storyline. But we do know that Lawrence will be portraying the wife of Him (Bardem), who will play a famed writer. The story revolved around what happens in their house in the countryside when they will be joined by another married couple played by Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Promotional images of "Mother" that were launched in late August, alluded to "Rosemary's Baby," and because of that many suspected that Lawrence's character is pregnant and is in danger. It was not only until the Sept. 5 premiere of "American Horror Story: Cult" that it was fully revealed that the character is indeed with child.

Apparently the movie gets too intense at some point that even the actress would resort to certain ways to cope. For instance, she would watch reality shows such as "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

"Mother" premieres will hit theatres starting on Friday, Sept. 14.
