Jennifer Lawrence Rumors: Actress Not Engaged to Darren Aronofsky, Says Source

While photos of Jennifer Lawrence wearing a ring have given rise to speculations that the actress is already engaged to Darren Aronofsky, the latest reports claim that the controversial piece of jewelry is simply a costume ring and not an engagement ring that it was made to appear.

Rumors claiming that Lawrence and Aronofsky are already engaged stemmed from the photos of the actress that was published in an online publication recently. According to the said report, the actress was spotted wearing a massive ring on her wedding finger when she was seen running errands in Los Angeles lately.

While the said online publication did not categorically say that the actress was already engaged, the article seeded the speculations on the status of Lawrence's relationship with her director boyfriend as it even asked if the ring was a gift from Aronofsky.

However, Gossip Cop, an online publication that busts rumors on celebrities, claims that there is no veracity to the reports claiming that Lawrence is already engaged to Aronofsky. According to the gossip-busting publication, an incognito source close to the actress has revealed that Lawrence is not engaged to Aronofsky, at least not yet and that the ring she was wearing was nothing more than a costume jewelry and was not an engagement ring after all.

As of this writing, though, Lawrence has yet to issue a statement to clarify the rumors once and for all. However, one thing seems to be certain: Her relationship with Aronofsky is getting stronger with each passing day. After all, in an interview with a magazine two months ago, the actress revealed that she has never been confused with her relationship with the director, something that cannot be said about her past relationships.

"We had energy. I had energy for him. I don't know how he felt about me. I've been in relationships before where I am just confused. And I'm never confused with him," Lawrence said in an interview with Vogue last August.
