Jodi Arias Trial Live Stream Free: Watch Online Coverage of Sentencing Phase (Jodi Arias Interview Video)

The Jodi Arias trial will finally recommence on Wednesday with proceedings scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET. Following Arias' guilty verdict last week, the sentencing phase of the trial will now commence, with all the developments available to watch online through free live stream via the video player below.

Last week Jodi Arias was convicted of the first degree murder of ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, meaning that she potentially could receive the death penalty.

Prosecution and defense teams will now debate about whether the death penalty should be an option for sentencing, although most analysts feel that her case fits the criteria to be considered for a death sentence.

In 2008 Arias killed her ex-boyfriend, Alexander, with authorities finding him in his residence with a bullet to the forehead, as well as 27 stab wounds, and his throat slit from ear to ear.

Last week following her conviction, Arias spoke to the media and claimed that she would now prefer to get the death penalty: "I said years ago that I'd rather get death than life and that's still is true today."

Following those comments she was placed on suicide watch, and just this week she was transferred back to Estrella Jail, an all-women Phoenix jail, where she will be held until the end of her trial.

The prosecution this week will have to prove that there is at least one aggravating factor in the murder, and the jury must be persuaded that the killing was committed in a way that was cruel, heinous, or depraved, which would warrant the case to be considered for the death penalty.

It is believed that the aggravating aspect of the sentencing phase could be completely today, and if so things will move on to the final penalty phase. Both sides will be given a chance to address the jury, before Travis Alexander's family will be given the opportunity to speak to give an impact statement.

Finally Arias will be given the chance to make a statement and plea her case personally.
