Jonah Hill Weight Loss News: 'Maniac' Star Shows Off Skinny Bod While Filming New Series

Jonah Hill has taken his weight loss to the next level.

The actor is literally half the man he used to be. Hill was almost unrecognizable when he was spotted filming for his new series, "Maniac," which is slated to debut on Netflix in 2018. On Wednesday, the "Moneyball" star appeared slim and stylish as he shot scenes for the upcoming dark comedy.

Photos from the set show Hill, 33, shooting a court appearance scene with fellow tar Trudie Styler. The comedian wore a classic gray suit matched with a trench coat and white tennis shoes. Styler, on the other hand, stunned with black frames and a navy coat.

Hill's weight has been known to fluctuate in the past, as he was forced to lose and gain weight for certain roles. Following his 2013 stint in the "Wolf of Wall Street," Hill had to pack on the pounds for his "War Dogs" character. He reportedly gained nearly three stone to fit his arms dealer character.

Speaking with "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon, he shared a story about the hilarious advice friend and "21 Jump Street" co-star Channing Tatum once gave him.

"I gained weight for this movie 'War Dogs,' and then I wanted to get in better shape," he stated, "so I called Channing Tatum, and said, 'Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?'

Hill added, "And he said, 'Yes, you dumb motherf***er, of course you will, it's the simplest thing in the entire world.'"

Hill reunites with "Superbad" co-star Emma Stone in the new Netflix series "Maniac," which explores the fantasy worlds of two mental hospital patients. His next film projects include "Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot (2018)" and "How to Train Your Dragon 3 (2019)."
