'Jurassic World 2' Update & Spoilers: Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire To Be A Different Person, No More Heels

The sequel to the American adventure science fiction film "Jurassic World" is still far away from hitting the cinemas but fans are getting some tidbits of information as early as now. According to Vine Report, the movie was one of the most successful films released in the summer of last year. It also gained so much attention after the "running in heels" stint of the character Claire, played by Bryce Dallas Howard.

Many have wondered if she is going to run away from the dinosaurs again in heels. Howard shared the answer and it's a no. According to Entertainment Online, the 34-year-old actress shared some information about the upcoming film during the Sundance Film Festival.

She revealed that fans should expect to see a very different parks operation manager Claire in "Jurassic World 2."

"Claire is a different person now. The person she is at the end of the movie is not the person she was in the beginning," Howard said, according to the Entertainment Online article. "Her armor of sorts was that white, pristine outfit with heels in a very corporate environment. The chick at the end is totally different. So, there better not be heels!" she continued.

So it's a relief to know that Claire will be ditching the heels and perhaps putting on more comfortable and dinosaur-escaping appropriate type of shoes like hiking boots. But Howard said that Claire's heels were part of the movie. "They served their purpose," she said.

She also said that she can't tell much but she gamely shared about bumping into screenwriters Colin Trevorrow and Derek Conolly and asking them to tell her something about the film. She said that she already knows some stuff and that she's excited about it.

Movie News Guide detailed that Howard will also be joined by other original cast members including male lead Chris Pratt who plays as the Velociraptor expert Owen Grady. Ty Simpkins is also reported to reprise his role as Gray.

"Jurassic World 2" is slated to hit theaters on June 22, 2018.
