'Justice League' Rumors: Movie Features Unannounced DC Superheroes
While it is already a known fact that "Justice League" will feature Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), The Flash (Ezra Miller), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and even Superman (Henry Cavill), it is speculated that there are other DC superheroes that will be featured in the said movie.
According to recent rumors, a promotional event of "Justice League" in China has bolstered the long-standing rumors claiming that the movie will also feature a Green Lantern in its story. In fact, it is suspected that the movie is not just introducing one member of the Green Lantern Corps, but several of them.
The latest speculations on the presence of, at least, one Green Lantern in the movie stemmed after one Twitter user who attended the 30-minute special screening of the movie teased in her tweet that there was a presence of "green light" in "Justice League." When asked to confirm whether she was referring to Green Lantern, the said Twitter user, who hides by the name Fiona Is All In, answered: "Green Lantern is confirmed!"
Green Lantern may not be the only DC superhero who may join the confirmed cast ensemble of "Justice League" as the latest TV spot for the movie has also given rise to rumors that Shazam may be present in it, too. Speculations on this possibly being the case stemmed from a quick scene in the TV spot wherein a figure wearing a costume seemingly similar to that of the hero is seen harnessing a bolt of thunder to be used against Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds).
With the confirmation that Zachary Levi has bagged the role of Shazam in the DC superhero's upcoming solo movie, some can't help but opine that the blurry character in the TV spot may be Shazam, indeed.
Will "Justice League" really feature several Green Lantern Corps members? Is Shazam in the movie, too? Who are other DC superheroes joining Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg?
Find out when "Justice League" hits the theaters this Nov.15.
