'Justice League' Updates: Upcoming Movie Not Another 'Wonder Woman' Film, Says Gal Gadot

Despite the popularity of her Diana/Wonder Woman character, Gal Gadot has stressed that the upcoming "Justice League'' will not be another "Wonder Woman "movie.

''Justice League'' is hitting the theaters in a little more than a month from now, and many are excited to see Gadot reprise her Wonder Woman role one more time after last year's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'' and the recent standalone "Wonder Woman'' movie.

While earlier rumors claimed that the re-shoots of "Justice League'' added more scenes to give Wonder Woman more exposure, as Warner Bros allegedly wanted to ride on the critical and commercial success of the character's eponymous movie, Gadot has clarified in a recent interview that it will not be the case.

"I did one week for (reshoots). Diana serves as the glue of the team. She finds moments to support every one of the team and make them feel stronger or believe in themselves. But this is not a 'Wonder Woman movie,'" Gadot said.

While "Justice League'' is not another "Wonder Woman" movie, it is apparent that Warner Bros has placed its trust on the bankability of Wonder Woman. After all, "Wonder Woman'' is considered not only to be the studio's most commercially successful DCEU (DC Extended Universe) movie but critically, too. Hence, apart from the already announced "Wonder Woman 2," the Amazonian Warrior Princess is also rumored to lend her presence to another upcoming DCEU movie, "Flashpoint," as, after all, the comic book counterpart of the said movie features an evil version of the female DC superhero character.

"Justice League" may not be another "Wonder Woman'' movie, but fans can expect that some of its moments will cast the spotlight on the Amazonian Warrior Princess. After all, apart from one of the founding members of the league of superheroes, her Amazonian might and power are vital in the defeat of the movie's big bad, Steppenwolf (Ciaran Hinds).

"Justice League" hits the theaters this Nov. 17.
