Justin Bieber Calvin Klein Photoshop News: Singer Receives Apology From Website
Justin Bieber has recently been named the new face of Calvin Klein. The brand launched a new video featuring Bieber and model Lara Stone, as well as several photos for the campaign, and while the singer's fans are thrilled, some were skeptical about the pictures' authenticity, with some claiming that Bieber's pictures may have been heavily retouched.
Not long after the images have been released, BreatheHeavy.com released an image of the "before" image before the pictures were allegedly photoshopped. Soon after, Bieber's team sent a cease and desist letter to the website. According to TMZ, the singer's team demanded that the image be removed after the site claimed that it was from a photoshoot insider.
On Jan. 8, BreatheHeavy issued a retraction on their website, and they said, "Because BreatheHeavy is not about making anyone feel bad or intentionally stirring the pot (and are definitely not here for lawsuits), we shall retract the story per request. Bieber denies the photo is real, and I respect that and will believe him."
Calvin Klein has also defended Bieber, and in a statement said that the singer was a perfect gentleman and a professional throughout the shoot.
Now that the singer has made a big splash with the Calvin Klein campaign, Bieber now has his sights set on conquering Hollywood. In an interview with V Magazine, he said, "I still have so many personal and professional goals I want to achieve."
"I want to keep creating music for my fans. One day I hope to make strides into movies and fashion too," the Canadian pop singer added.
Despite his interest in working in the film industry, Bieber said that his music still comes first and that he's excited about doing some new music and going on tour this year.
"I'm going to start off working on a new album and tour for 2015. I'm excited to get back to work. I love performing live. It's my favorite part of my job."
