Justin Timberlake Wants Baby, Wife Jessica Biel Not Ready? 'Good Lord' is in Control, Grandmother Says
Justin Timberlake is reportedly eager to start a family with his wife Jessica Biel, but the actress is not ready, his grandmother claims.
The "Take Back The Night" singer, 33, reportedly wants to become a father as soon as possible even though Biel, 32, is in no rush. The couple wed in October 2012 after five years of on-and-off dating and Timberlake's grandmother claims that while the singer wants a baby now, ultimately "the good Lord" is in control.
"Justin has wanted to have children all his life. If it were up to him, they'd have a baby tomorrow!" Timberlake's grandmother Sadie Bomar told Star magazine.
"[Jessica] is okay with everything happening when it's meant to be," she explained. "They will have a child when the good Lord says they should."
The Hollywood couple exchanged "I dos" before approximately 100 family members and friends in southern Italy in 2012, almost one year after the former 'N Sync singer popped the question. Bomar claims busy work schedules have also made it difficult for the pair to start a family.
Last year Biel, who has previously been open about her desire to become a mother, was forced to defend her marriage after her absence from the American Music Awards sparked split reports.
"I'm watching from home tonight. Calm down, Internet," Biel tweeted.
In December, last year Biel was asked about whether she plans to become a mother anytime soon during an appearance at the premiere for her film "The Truth About Emmanuel's."
"I don't know. I'm not quite sure about sooner or later but definitely at some point," she told E! News with her co-star Kaya Scodelario adding, "I'm sure she'd be great [at motherhood]!"
Biel once opened up about married life admitting that little has changed for both her and her Grammy award-winning singer husband.
"It's weird because it's feels like almost nothing has changed," she said about married life. "But yet something that you really can't describe — or something that isn't really tangible — has changed."
Timberlake, who proposed to the actress while vacationing in Jackson, Wyo., in December 2011, also opened up about married life.
"Every once in a while I can catch a glimpse of her when she doesn't see me looking and I have this moment where I'm like if you never make a good decision … if you only make bad decisions for the rest of your life, you made one really good decision," he said.
"Because she's just like … it's nice to marry your friend. It's nice to marry your best friend. It suits me," he added.
