Kate Middleton News: Duchess Attends Events, Says Prince George Loves to Paint
Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince George are back in London from their holiday in Mustique. Upon their return, the Duchess of Cambridge immediately wasted no time and got back to work as she took on several engagements over the past few days.
On Tuesday, Feb. 10, the Duchess made a private visit to Bethlem and Maudsley Hospital School, where she bonded with kids and staff, and even showed off a surprising musical talent. The royal spent more than an hour at the hospital, and at one point, she reportedly met a young boy who taught her to play a few chords on the ukulele.
The Duchess also attended a reception as patron of The Royal Foundation on Wednesday to discuss its support of palliative care hospices for children.

On Thursday, February 12, the 33-year-old royal visited the home of Ben Ainsley Racing and The 1851 Trust in Portsmouth, Hampshire. The Duchess viewed progress on the new home of the trust and viewed an art project by the local community. She also viewed a mural painted by local schoolchildren and was invited to put the finishing touches. The Duchess, who was dressed in a white coat which highlighted her growing baby bump, happily obliged.
Art teacher James Waterfield from Park Community School in Leigh Park, Havant, stood alongside the Duchess as she did her painting.
"I was so worried about getting paint on her fantastic white coat," Waterfield told the Associated Press. "She told me she was painting yesterday with baby George and she should have brought him down because he loves doing all this."
Afterwards, the Duchess attended a reception at the Spinnaker Tower where she watched a demonstration on the latest sailing technology. She was gifted with three high visibility vests. One which said "The Boss" for her, "The Future Boss" for Prince George, and "The Boss's Best Friend" for their dog, Lupo.
