Kate Middleton Baby Due Any Day Now, Duchess 'Nervous' To Give Birth
Kate Middleton is just days away from her due date, but despite her anticipation of the royal baby, the mom-to-be is staying busy.
The 31-year-old and her husband Prince William's official due date is believed to be July 11 according to reports.
However, there are several conflicting reports, and St. James Palace did not provide an exact date for the royal baby's arrival.
Regardless of which day, the Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly "nervous" but "feeling great," according to Us Weekly.
"She's full of energy and really rather used to the bump," said a family source speaking to the magazine. "Naturally she is a little nervous about the big day, what new mum wouldn't be?"
Middleton already made plans to give birth in London's St. Mary's Hospital inside the Lindo Wing, but the expectant mother and her husband are still preparing their home for the baby.
"She's still busy, making sure she's done as much as possible for the new house before the baby is born," the insider revealed. "Once the baby is here, she won't have time for anything else!"
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are redecorating their 20-room apartment in Kensington Palace, which they will move into in the fall.
"Everything is great," the source at Us Weekly assured. "She's healthy, the baby is healthy."
Earlier in her pregnancy, Middleton herself admitted to being anxious about the birth during an official engagement in London.
The Duchess of Cambridge visited staff members at Hope House, a residential center that aids recovering addicts, while she was four-and-a-half months along. The occasion marked the debut of the royal's baby bump.
It was during the outing that Middleton confessed anxiety over the imminent arrival of her first child.
"I did ask her if she was nervous [about giving birth,]" one onlooker told the U.K.'s Mirror. "She said it would be unnatural if she wasn't- she's human like us."
Meanwhile, as the expected due date of the royal couple's baby looms, British bookies are taking bets on everything from the baby's gender to its hair color and weight.
Most odds point to the child being female, while other bets land on the birth date being July 17th.
