Kate Middleton Carries Out 3 Engagements in a Day in Kensington
Being pregnant has not stopped Kate Middleton from stepping out on Jan. 19 for a full day of engagements.
The Duchess of Cambridge, who is about six months pregnant, was dressed in a blue floral printed dress under a pale blue coat and looked refreshed and was all smiles as she arrived for the first engagement of the day, which was a coffee morning with Family Friends, a voluntary organization providing mentoring services to families in deprived areas.
The Duchess received a warm welcome from the organization before meeting with some of the trained volunteers and families. At one point, the royal met a shy toddler who was supposed to give her a bouquet of flowers, but upon taking a look at the Duchess, two year old Ryan Nixon did his best to get away. The Duchess laughed and told the boy, "I would be shy as well."

According to the Express, the Duchess also spoke to 17 year old Martina McDonagh about her baby and told her, "It's moving all the time. I can feel it kicking now."
For the second engagement of the day, the Duchess formally opened the Kensington Aldridge Academy, and she met with school governors, staff and students. She also toured the new building and watched part of a lesson. The Duchess also met students who are designing items for sale at Portobello Road Market.
For the final engagement, the Duchess walked across the site from the Academy to formally open Kensington Leisure Center. The royal toured the facilities and watched a group of children playing various sports. The Duchess also attended a reception before unveiling a plaque. Later, she was presented with an inflatable duck for Prince George and an embroidered bag.
