Kate Middleton Due Date: July 13 Intended to Throw off Press?
Kate Middleton is reportedly due to give birth to a royal heir on July 13 however critics are speculating whether this date may have been used to throw off the press.
In April the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, revealed that her and Prince William's first child is due "around mid-July," when asked by news reporters in Glasgow adding "but babies have their own agenda." A new report suggests that Middleton may have followed the late Princess Diana's lead by possibly telling the press that the baby is due weeks after the actual due date, according to the Daily Telegraph.
In 1982 Princess Diana reportedly announced that her first born son, William, was due on her birthday, July 1, however he was born more than one week prior on June 21 igniting speculation that she may have deliberately thrown off the media to protect her privacy.

In January St. James's palace confirmed that Middleton and William, 30, were expecting a royal heir in July.
"Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July," a St James's Palace spokesman said. "The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month."
In May, an alleged friend of the royal couple claimed they had revealed July 13 to be the scheduled due date however this has not been verified by Middleton and William.
"Some of William's closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently," an alleged friend told Daily Mail. "They were all discussing the fact that Kate's baby is due to be born on July 13."
As the world awaits the birth of the royal baby, who will be third in line to the throne, St James's Palace aides confirmed that both Middleton and William do not know the sex of their baby.
"[They] do not know and do not plan to find out the gender of the baby in advance," St James's Palace aides confirmed.
