Kate Middleton News: The Duchess of Cambridge Gets Fashion Advice from Cara Delevingne's Mom, Pandora
One of the world's most fashionable women, Kate Middleton, was seen on two red carpet events last month, and according to reports, the Duchess of Cambridge was helped by Pandora Delevingne, Cara Delevingne's mom, to choose the amazing gowns she wore at both events.
The princess wore a powder blue gown by Jenny Packham at the premiere of the latest Bond movie last October in London, while she wore a floral Erdem gown at the Victoria and Albert event. The said gowns were reportedly picked by Cara's mom, who is also known to be a Selfridges personal shopper, according to Look UK. The website said that Kate has known the Delevingne's family for years, who has a long history in fashion, and according to the report, Jane Sheffield, Pandora's mother, was actually Princess Margaret's lady-in-waiting.
According to Grazia Daily, the 56-year-old personal shopper has built her career giving fashion advice, and Kate apparently sought one from Pandora to help her pick the dresses to wear on the last red carpet events she attended. "Pandora advised Kate on both the Jenny Packham and the Erdem dresses she wore. She adored the Jenny Packham dress, but needed a bit more convincing on the Erdem one as the shape was very unusual, but Pandora encouraged her to go with it," a source told the website.
The 33-year-old royalty was reported to be trying to be more daring in her fashion choices, and Pandora was said to be happy and honored to give the princess pieces of advice.
In other news, the royalty gave her support to help raise funds for the expansion of the children's intensive care unit at the St. Mary's Hospital in London, where she gave birth to Prince George and Princess Charlotte. "As someone who was so brilliantly cared for by St. Mary's, I am delighted to support [the appeal], and commend the important work of all those involved in the project," Kate said in a statement, according to People.
